Certified Lymphedema Therapist | U.S. Air Force Veteran | Holistic Nurse Educator
As proud Lake Havasu City resident since 1973, I’ve dedicated my life to serving others—first in the United States Air Force during Operation Desert Storm, and later as a Registered Nurse right here in my hometown. My path has taken me through long-term care, hospice, public health, and private practice, but today, I’m proud to focus on lymphatic therapy as a Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT), helping my clients heal, recover, and thrive.
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Northern Arizona University in 1998, where I was introduced to holistic nursing through a mentor who served as President of the Holistic Nursing Association. That experience shaped my core belief: healthcare is a partnership, and education is its most powerful tool. I believe that when clients are empowered with knowledge and given choices, they’re more likely to engage in their healing process—and that’s where real transformation begins.
Military Service & a Personal Mission
During my Air Force service from 1988–1994, I had the honor of working alongside remarkable people, including a fellow veteran whose battle with laryngeal cancer would change the trajectory of my career. He introduced me to Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD) and Complete Decongestive Therapy (CDT), and I saw firsthand how dramatically it improved his speech, swelling, and quality of life. His therapist became his lifeline—and inspired me to become one, too.
That experience led me to pursue full Certified Lymphedema Therapist credentials through the Academy of Lymphatic Studies. I’m continuing my advanced training and will earn my certification in Advanced Lymphatic Management by December 2025.

From my earliest days volunteering at Smoketree Elementary to my involvement in Girl Scouts, 4-H, NHS, and beyond, I’ve always believed in giving back to the community that raised me. Whether I’m working one-on-one in my clinic, educating clients, or helping someone find the right garment for their needs, my purpose is the same: to help people live with less pain, less swelling, and more confidence.
